From the 1950s to the 1990s, the American clothing brand IZOD was the partner of the French brand Lacoste in North America, responsible for the production and sales of Lacoste's clothing and marketing it under the brand name "IZOD Lacoste". The partnership was very successful at the time, but eventually ended in 1993 and Lacoste began to operate its US business independently.
